Popcorn Popper

The old fashioned design of this popcorn popper looks great banging by the hearth, but also easily disassembles without tools for car camping.  Made from steel and featuring a BBQ grade baked enamel finish, the 3.5" depth x 9" diameter pan will pop 2 quarts at a time.  Also works great for chestnut roasting.  Features a quality wood handle and leather hanging strap.  Basic Instructions:  Heat a couple of tablespoons of canola oil in the pan, add about 1/4 cup of kernals and spread evenly.  hold over flame or heat source.  Do not stick in the coals.  Cook, shaking from time to time listening for the kernels to start popping.  When the popping dies down, remove from heat and check to see if the popcorn is done.  You can expect there to always be some unpopped kernels, because if you try to pop every last one, you'll burn the kernels that have already popped.
